Hi, my name is Samantha Deal

I am a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with experience spanning two decades. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working closely with infants, toddlers, and their families while fostering meaningful connections within the early childhood community. My passion for early childhood development has led me to specialize in the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) and Reggio Emilia approaches, two related teaching methods that resonate deeply with my belief of respecting the unique capabilities and perspectives of each child. Embracing these innovative methodologies, I strive to create environments for children that encourage exploration, curiosity, and the natural unfolding of each child’s potential.

In addition to my extensive experience in early childhood education, I have trained as a Postpartum Doula. This additional training has equipped me with the knowledge and empathy needed to support families during the transformative period of welcoming new infants into their lives. Understanding the delicate balance of early parenthood, I am committed to providing guidance, encouragement, and compassionate presence to families as they navigate the joys and challenges of the postpartum period.

My journey as an Early Childhood Educator is a testament to an unwavering dedication to the growth and well-being of the little ones I have had the privilege to nurture and will nurture. I am excited to continue this journey, with families and fellow educators, as we embark on the rewarding adventure of early care and education together.

My Approach

In this slow and intentional setting, we recognize the individual pace at which each child grows and learns. The classes are designed to be gentle and supportive, allowing children to explore, discover, and develop at their own rates. Classes will be thoughtfully prepared, including open-ended materials to create a place where children feel safe, secure, valued, and free to express themselves. At the same time caregivers will be able to relax and observe while engaging in informative conversations about early development.

COLLABORATION

Classes are more than just a gathering for play time—it's a nurturing community that thrives on partnerships and leads to an informative, supportive, and caring group of families and caregivers. I believe in empowering parents and caregivers with knowledge that enhances their understanding of early childhood development. From sharing insights on the latest research to offering practical tips for everyday challenges, I aim to create an environment where families can feel confident and informed in their parenting journey.

CONNECTION

Creating connection is at the forefront of everything I do. I understand the profound impact that deep relationships can have on the growth and well-being of young children and their families. Through shared experiences, open communication, and a sense of belonging, our classes becomes a space where meaningful connections among families and young children can flourish.

NURTURE

Join us on this  journey of intentional parenting, where every interaction is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with your child and build lasting connections with other families. Our classes are not just a gathering—it's a celebration of the magic that happens when a supportive community comes together to nurture the precious moments of early childhood.
